Greetings. Welcome to the section where I talk about myself.

I am overjoyed to be a journalist right now. What started as a love for writing has evolved into a passion to informing people through interactive media. I’ve learned there is more than one way to tell a story.

A good analogy I use is that when I began writing, we were asked, “How can you think about art to showcase your story?” But the question now is that, “How can you use new media to inform and connect to people?”

And that’s really exciting!

A little background on me: I grew up in California and relocated to Nevada in the fifth grade. The transition was hard but I now have a love-hate relationship with Reno, Nevada. 

I currently attend the University of Nevada, Reno and will graduate in December 09 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. I love the Reynolds School of Journalism and Insight Magazine. 

In May 2009, I’ll be going abroad to Taiwan to study Mandarin.
